One of our projects this term has been to work on reading skills. Often we think that once we learn to read, we are finished and that there is no way to improve. However, we can constantly work on skills to help us discover new and more sophisticated ways to look at texts.
I would like you to think of reading as an exciting challenge, much like playing a computer game or sport. We looked at some specific ways that you could challenge yourself whilst reading ‘A Christmas Carol’ by looking at different stages of reading.
