Those of you who didn’t make it this time, don’t worry – you have plenty of lessons to display your hard work. Remember if you have done a piece of work that you are proud of and you don’t think I have noticed, just put your hand up and I will be really happy to come and see it.

That’s a lovely thing for you to say Walid. I think I am just very lucky to be teaching such wonderful students, it makes me want to be a better teacher. I also work with a group of fantastic teachers in the English department who help me along the way, I know that you would enjoy studying with them too.
